What We Do?
Over the years, we have developed a wide range of programs and services designed to meet the needs of our country’s most vulnerable populations. Whether it’s providing basic necessities like food and shelter or offering emotional support and counselling, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of those we serve
At Healing Hands, we believe that everyone deserves access to basic human rights, including food, shelter, healthcare, and education. Unfortunately, many individuals and families in our country struggle to access these necessities due to financial or other challenges. That’s where we come in. Our team works tirelessly to identify those who are most in need and provide them with the support and resources they require to thrive.
Our programs and services include :
We provide regular meals and groceries to families in need. Our food assistance program is designed to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. Especially during month of Ramadan (9th Month in Islamic Calendar) we increase our regular drivers many folds to ensure we can cover as many people as we can in this holy month.
At Healing Hands, we understand that access to economic opportunities is an important aspect of creating long-term stability and independence. Starting a small business can provide individuals and families with a path towards financial
security.
We provide access to healthcare services to those who cannot afford it. Our team works closely with healthcare professionals to ensure that our clients receive the care they need.
We offer educational and vocational training programs to help individuals build the skills they need to succeed in today’s economy. We have successfully setup primary schools and Islamic schools and we plan to broaden our scope to college level. Who We Are?
The heart of Healing Hands is a small but dedicated team of four individuals who work tirelessly to ensure the success of the organization’s mission. Each member brings unique skills and perspectives to the table, united by a shared passion for making a positive impact in the world
Saeed Anwer Siddiqui
First is Saeed Anwer Siddiqui, the founder and driving force behind Healing Hands. His deep sense of empathy and commitment to social justice led her to start the organization in 2010. With a background in social work, Umair has a keen understanding of the challenges facing vulnerable populations and is dedicated to finding innovative solutions to these problems
Amir Anis
Next is Amir Anis, the organization’s program director. With years of experience in non-profit management, Amir is responsible for overseeing Healing Hands’ wide range of programs and services. He works closely with the team to identify the needs of the community and develop strategies for addressing them. Amir’s leadership and expertise have been instrumental in the organization’s success.
Ainie Rehman
Finally, there’s Ainie Rehman, the organization’s community outreach Director. Her passion for working with people and building relationships has been invaluable in expanding Healing Hands’ reach and impact. She is responsible for building partnerships with other organizations, coordinating events and activities, and working directly with the community to identify needs and provide support.
Danish Siddiqui
Next is Danish Siddiqui, the program coordinator. With a background in social work and a passion for community building, Danish is responsible for managing Healing Hands’ various programs and services. He works closely with other team members to identify areas of need and develop strategies for addressing them, always with an eye toward improving the lives of those the organization serves.
